DiDi Global posted second-quarter attributable net profit of 869 million yuan, compared with a loss of 2.48 billion yuan the previous year.
Loss per share narrowed to 0.16 yuan from 2.10 yuan, according to a Thursday news release.
The ride-hailing platform's revenue rose 10.8% year over year to 62.5 billion yuan from 56.4 billion yuan, driven by an increase in core platform gross transaction volume.
