Diamond Power Wins INR2.18 Billion Aluminium Alloy Conductors Order

Diamond Power Infrastructure (NSE:DIACABS, BOM:522163) has received a letter of award worth 2.18 billion Indian rupees, including GST, from Adani Energy Solutions (NSE:ADANIENSOL, BOM:539254) to supply aluminium alloy conductors for two transmission projects.

The contract covers the supply of 1,050 km of AL59 Moose conductors for the Tuticorin project and 3,770 km of AL59 Zebra conductors for the Pune-III project, to be delivered between July 2026 and February 2027, according to an Indian bourse filing on Thursday. Deliveries are scheduled between July 2026 and February 2027.

Shares of the company fell over 2% in recent trade.

AMP's Balance of Business Looks to be Performing Better than Consensus Expectations, Jefferies Says

AMP's (ASX:AMP) balance of the business looks to be performing better than consensus expectations, Jefferies said in a Thursday note.AMP reported that first half underlying net profit after tax is likely to fall between AU$170 million and AU$180 million, with a consensus forecast of AU$142 million, due to factors which include a stronger contribution from the China partnerships as well as improved investment income.It will recognize AU$18 million of pre-tax carried interest in the period within Other Partnerships, relating to DigitalBridge's sale of a 51% stake in the remaining assets of a legacy AMP Capital infrastructure fund.
