Destini Secures Five-Year Contract for Malaysia Tubular Service from Petronas Carigali

Destini (KLSE:DESTINI) unit Destini Oil Services bagged a contract from Petronas Carigali to provide tubular running services in the West Region of Malaysia.

The contract runs for five years from March 30, 2026, to March 29, 2031, with the value to be determined based on work orders issued.

The deal is expected to contribute positively to earnings and net assets for the financial year ending June 2026, it said.

Honda Motor (TYO:7267) posted an attributable loss of 424 billion yen for the fiscal year ended March 31, reversing a profit of 836 billion yen a year earlier, weighed down by a hefty hit tied to its electric vehicle business.Loss per share came to 106.06 yen, compared with earnings per share of 178.93 yen in the previous fiscal year, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.The Japanese carmaker said the fiscal 2025 loss reflected a 1.58 trillion yen impact related to the reorganization of its EV business amid "significant changes" in the electric vehicle market.Sales revenue, meanwhile, inched up to 21.8 trillion yen from 21.7 trillion yen in the prior year.Honda declared a final dividend of 35 yen per share, payable from June 9.For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 260 billion yen, EPS of 66.79 yen, and net sales of 23.2 trillion yen.

Bridgestone's Profit Jumps 21% in Q1

Bridgestone's (TYO:5108) profit attributable to owners of the parent climbed 21% to 92.1 billion yen in the fiscal first quarter from 75.9 billion yen a year earlier.The tiremaker's earnings per share increased to 72.31 yen from 55.53 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.Revenue rose 5.2% to 1.113 trillion yen for the three months ended March 31 from 1.058 trillion yen in the prior-year period.For the full year, the company expects attributable profit of 340 billion yen, basic EPS of 270.87 yen, and revenue of 4.500 trillion yen.Bridgestone plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 60 yen and 65 yen per share, respectively, for the year, totalling 125 yen per share, lower than the amount paid in the year-ago period on a pre-stock-split basis.
