Datang Telecom Technology (SHA:600198) subsidiary Datang Microelectronics Technology faces an appeal to a dispute filed against Wuhan Tianyu Information Industry, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Tianyu asked the court to reduce the 1.8 million yuan in financial penalties of up to 548,231.60 yuan following a lawsuit involving the non-payment of goods to Datang, the filing said.

In August, a court in Hubei, China ordered Tianyu to pay 18 million yuan in unpaid goods and 1.8 million yuan in financial penalties
