Datang International Power Generation's (HKG:0991, SHA:601991) on-grid power generation rose 4.4% year over year in the first half of 2026 to around 129.5 billion kilowatt-hours.
Of the total, the firm's gas-fired power and hydropower output jumped around 17% each to 9.81 billion kWh and 15.7 billion kWh, respectively.
Generation from photovoltaic, coal-fired, and wind power increased 5.9%, 1.6% and 1.2%, respectively, to 3.77 billion kWh, 88.7 billion kWh, and 11.4 billion kWh.
The higher output came about amid a growth in gas-fired and new energy installed capacity and more favorable inflow conditions.
As of June 30, the company's average on-grid tariff fell 3.1% to roughly 430.92 yuan per megawatt-hour.
