Dajin Heavy Industry Subsidiary to Build Four Ships for Greek Shipowner

Dajin Heavy Industry (SHE:002487) subsidiary Tangshan Dajin Offshore Engineering will design, build, and deliver four bulk carriers to a Greek shipowner for 2.1 billion yuan, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

Three of the vessels have a fixed price totaling 1.58 billion, with the fourth vessel a buyer's option worth 525 million yuan.

Each vessel will be 299.95 meters long, 50 meters wide, and 50 meters deep with a total deadweight tonnage of 211,000 deadweight tons.

They are scheduled for delivery between 2029 and 2030.

Shares rose 5% during the close of the trading session on Tuesday.
