By

Daiichi Sankyo (TYO:4568) is delaying the release of its consolidated results for the year ended March 31, 2026, to May 11 from April 27 as it requires more time to finalize financial figures, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Shares of the company plunged nearly 10% in morning trade Friday.

The company is reviewing supply plans for its oncology portfolio and development pipeline amid shifting business conditions, which is extending deliberations over estimates for loss provisions tied to contracts with manufacturers.
