Earnings per share increased to 111.85 yen from 97.58 yen, according to a Thursday Tokyo bourse filing.
The automated material handling company's net sales jumped 8.9% to 355.5 billion yen from 326.5 billion yen in the year-ago period.
The company declared an interim dividend of 40 yen per share for the period.
The company forecasts attributable net income of 86.5 billion yen, basic EPS of 233.55 yen, net sales of 735 billion yen, and total dividend of 90 yen per share for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31.
The profit and sales forecasts were revised upward from 80 billion yen and 700 billion yen previously, according to a separate filing. EPS was previously estimated to be 217.57 yen.
