Daewoo Engineering and Construction (KRX:047040) secured a 387.63 billion won contract from the Gyeonggi Housing & Urban Development Corp, according to a filing with the Korean bourse on Friday.
Shares of the company rose nearly 2% in morning trade on Friday.
The contract involves the construction of a mixed-use complex, including knowledge industry facilities, offices, and dormitories, consisting of 4 basement levels and 12 above-ground floors, the filing said.
Construction of the project is expected to end on Oct. 31, 2031, according to the filing.
