d'Alba Global's Net Attributable Income Jumps 47% in Q1; Shares Surge 17%

d'Alba Global (KRX:483650) posted first-quarter net income attributable to shareholders of 36.3 billion won, up 47% from 24.7 billion won a year earlier, according to a Tuesday filing with the Korea Exchange.

The South Korean cosmetics manufacturer's sales jumped 51% year over year to 171.2 billion won from 113.8 billion won.

Shares of the company surged nearly 17% in recent trade.
