CuFe To Sell Western Australian Non-Core Tenements to Helix Resources

CuFe (ASX:CUF) entered into a binding terms sheet for the sale of its non-core tenement package in the Nullagine region of Western Australia to Helix Resources (ASX: HLX), according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The consideration comprises AU$50,000 in cash and AU$200,000 in Helix shares at an issue price of AU$0.035 per share. Settlement, expected by no later than Nov. 30, is conditional upon Helix obtaining shareholder approval for the issue of the consideration shares.

Helix said it would acquire 100% interest in 30 tenements, according to a separate filing.

CuFe will also be entitled to a 1% net smelter royalty on all minerals extracted from the tenements.

Orora Chief Safety, Sustainability, Governance Officer to Step Down at End of Year

Orora (ASX:ORA) said Ann Stubbings plans to step down as chief safety, sustainability, and governance officer, effective Dec. 31, after more than 13 years with the packaging products firm, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.In addition, Susannah Jobling Hodgens will be appointed as chief legal officer, the company said. Market Chatter: Korea Exchange to Extend Trading Hours till 8PM

South Korea's main stock market, the Korea Exchange, will enable trading till 8 pm following the regular close at 3:30 pm from Monday, in its move toward 24-hour trading, Bloomberg News reported Sunday.This decision opens 2,400 Korea Composite Stock Price Index, or Kospi, and Kosdaq stocks for evening trades, which include short-selling.
