CT Vision Attracts HK$12 Million Investment, to Raise Further HK$54 Million From Equity Markets

CT Vision (HKG:0994) agreed to issue HK$10.8 million worth of shares to an investor and would seek a further HK$54 million via the equity markets, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The renewable energy company's shares gained nearly 6% in late morning trade Thursday.

The company agreed to issue 30 million shares at HK$0.36 apiece to Arta Asset Management and simultaneously launched a public offering for another 150 million shares at the same price.

Proceeds from the sales will be used to expand and develop the company's renewable energy and aerospace businesses.

Market Chatter: Hanwha Aerospace Eyes Canada Space, Submarine Contracts; Shares Decline 3%

Hanwha Aerospace (KRX:012450) is seeking to sign a memorandum of understanding with Canadian spaceport operator Maritime Launch Services to support Canada's domestic rocket launch plans via a commercial spaceport in Nova Scotia, Bloomberg News reported Thursday.Canada, at present, does not have an operational launchpad and launch-vehicle operator, making Canadian satellite firms rely on foreign firms such as SpaceX.
