CSC Financial Co (HKG:6066, SHA:601066) posted a 69% increase in attributable profit in the first half, as stronger trading activity drove growth across most of its core businesses.
Net profit attributable to shareholders rose to 7.64 billion yuan from 4.51 billion yuan a year earlier, while total revenue and other income increased 42% to 23.1 billion yuan, according to its earnings release Wednesday.
Trading and institutional client services led the growth, with revenue and other income rising 61% to 13 billion yuan.
Wealth management revenue increased 30% to 7.33 billion yuan, while asset management revenue climbed 40% to 913 million yuan. Investment banking revenue was broadly unchanged at 1.18 billion yuan.
The company's international operations benefited from an active market environment. During the first half, its international unit completed seven Hong Kong IPO sponsorship projects that raised HK$31.3 billion in the first half, including Victory Giant Technology's HK$23.1 billion offering, the largest Hong Kong IPO during the period.
Domestic debt financing remained robust, with CSC Financial completing 2,355 lead underwriting projects totaling 834.2 billion yuan, ranking third in the industry on both measures.
The company plans to declare an interim dividend of 0.29 yuan per share.
Looking ahead, CSC Financial said it will focus on expanding investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border businesses, while deepening the integration of its mainland and Hong Kong operations and supporting technology and other emerging industries.
Total assets rose 27% from the end of 2025 to 860.5 billion yuan as of June 30.
