Sanan Optoelectronics' (SHA:600703) controlling shareholder, Xiamen Sanan Electronics, is facing bankruptcy after a creditor filed for its reorganization, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
The creditor, Lin Suzhen, filed the application with the Xiamen Intermediate People's Court in China.
Sanan Electronics is yet to receive any formal document from the court regarding the bankruptcy reorganization application.
The software company's shares dropped 7% during the afternoon trade.
