Cosmax (KRX:192820) said it approved a 22.5 billion won debt guarantee for affiliated company Cosmax China, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korean Exchange.
The guarantee covers 20.5 billion won in borrowings from Kookmin Bank Shanghai Branch, and the guarantee will run from Oct. 30, 2026, to Oct. 29, 2027.
The guarantee represents 3.7% of its equity capital, and the total outstanding debt guarantees, including the latest commitment, stood at 457.3 billion won.

Viva Goods (HKG:0933) has purchased 29.6 million shares of Chinese sportswear giant Li Ning (HKG:2331) for HK$398.4 million as an investment, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.The company said it bought the shares through open market transactions at an average price of HK$13.45 apiece.Following the transaction, Viva's stakeholding in Li Ning rose to 16.9%, with ownership of 437.2 million shares.
