Coronado Global Resources (ASX:CRN) reported second-quarter run-of-mine (ROM) coal production of 6.4 million tonnes, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company's ROM production was 7 million tonnes in the June quarter of 2025, an earlier filing showed.
Second-quarter saleable production of 4.1 million tonnes was up from 3.7 million tonnes a year earlier, while its sales volume fell to 3.5 million tonnes from 3.7 million tonnes.
Coronado Global said it returned to positive earnings in the second quarter, with earnings improving by around $100 million compared with the March quarter.
The company ended June with cash of $98 million.
Coronado Global shares surged 18% in recent Wednesday trade.
