Comstock (LODE) said Monday its Comstock Metals unit continues to advance the commissioning of its solar panel recycling production line, having received and assembled all precision equipment and unit operations for the facility.
Three of the unit operations, the robotic loading arms, the glass-upgrading Eddy system, and the washing system, are undergoing integration after testing and commissioning, Comstock said.
Commissioning activities are expected to continue through late July and the facility's first full month of operation is expected to start within the next two months, the company said. The facility is designed with a capacity of 100,000 tons per year, Comstock added.
Shares of Comstock were down more than 3% in Monday trading.
