Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX:CBA) received two shareholder resolutions for consideration at its annual meeting on Oct. 14, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
One resolution calls on the bank to disclose a pathway to deforestation-free finance in line with credible frameworks such as the Accountability Framework initiative.
The second resolution seeks an amendment to the company's constitution with the addition of a sub-clause that would allow shareholders to make requests "about the way in which a power of the company partially or exclusively vested in the directors has been or should be exercised."
