Collins Foods Expands German Footprint With Acquisition of Eight KFC Restaurants

Collins Foods (ASX:CKF) has acquired eight KFC outlets in Bavaria from JJ Restaurant, expanding its presence in a key German region, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The deal expands its German portfolio by around 50%, reinforcing its presence across three major states that together represent more than half of the country's population and economic output, per the filing.

The newly acquired restaurants generate higher margins than the company's existing German locations, boosting overall regional profitability, and will be included in financial consolidation starting Monday, the filing added.

Axis Bank (NSE:AXISBANK, BOM:532215) has invested an additional 3.81 billion Indian rupees in the equity shares of Axis Max Life Insurance Company, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.Following the investment, the shareholding of the lender and its subsidiaries, Axis Securities Limited and Axis Capital, will increase to 19.99% from 19.02%.
