Cohu Receives $5 Million Orders to Test Gallium Nitride Devices for AI Data Centers

Cohu (COHU) said Tuesday it received multiple orders from a chip maker worth $5 million for the DiamondX testing platform to support the development of gallium nitride power devices for use in AI data center power architectures.

The DiamondX test configurations for power devices allow accurate characterization and production testing of GaN devices used in key AI data center power stages, the company said.

Shares of Cohu were down 5.5% in Tuesday trading.
