CNOOC (HKG:0883, SHA:600938) reported 85.8 billion yuan in profit attributable to equity shareholders for the first half, compared with 69.5 billion yuan a year ago, a Wednesday bourse filing showed.
EPS moved to 1.81 yuan from 1.46 yuan year over year.
For the six months ended June 30, revenue was 242.7 billion yuan, versus 207.6 billion yuan previously, the oil giant said.
The company declared an interim dividend of HK$0.94 per share for the period, payable on or around Oct. 16 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 18.
