ClearView Wealth Secures Court Approval to Convene Shareholder Vote on Zurich Acquisition Scheme

ClearView Wealth (ASX:CVW) secured approval from the Supreme Court of New South Wales to convene a shareholder meeting on July 27 to vote on its proposed acquisition by Zurich Financial Services Australia, according to an Australian bourse filing on Monday after market hours.

The court also approved the distribution of the scheme booklet, which includes the independent expert's report and will be released following Australian Securities and Investments Commission registration to provide shareholders with detailed information ahead of the vote, per the filing.

The company's directors unanimously recommend voting in favor of the scheme, subject to no superior proposal and a positive independent expert conclusion, and intend to vote their own shares accordingly, the filing added.
