CITIC Securities' (SHA:600030, HKG:6030) affiliate, CSI MTN, issued two series of overseas medium-term bonds worth $30 million and 400 million yuan, respectively, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.
The securities company's subsidiary, CITIC Securities International, which is also CSI MTN's direct parent, provides the guarantees for the issuances.
The bonds are part of the company's overseas medium-term note program that was launched in 2022. CSI MTN is a special purpose vehicle that issues overseas bonds.
The company's Hong Kong bourse slipped 1% during the morning trade.
