Cinemark Records Highest-Ever Domestic Weekend Box Office

Cinemark (CNK) recorded its biggest-ever domestic weekend box office, driven by Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey, the company said Monday

The theater operator said Spider-Man: Brand New Day generated its highest-grossing three-day domestic opening for a single title, surpassing the previous record set by Avengers: Endgame.

Cinemark also reported record weekend results for its premium formats, including Cinemark XD, ScreenX and D-BOX, as well as its highest-ever weekend food and beverage revenue.

Shares of the company were up 1.9% in premarket trading.

Apple Faces Supply Constraints, Currency Drag in Q4 Amid AI Strategy Questions, UBS Says
