CIMC Buys Back Shares for HK$500 Million; Shares Jump 3%

China International Marine Containers (HKG:2039, SHE:000039) repurchased 65.8 million H shares for HK$498.7 million, according to a Hong Kong filing on Tuesday.

The Chinese shipping equipment provider's Shenzhen shares jumped 3% during Wednesday's afternoon trade.

The shares represents 2.2% of the company's total H share capital.

China Railway Signal & Communication Wins Five Projects

China Railway Signal & Communication (SHA:688009, HKG:3969) said it won five projects during the March to April period, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.The railway signal and communication manufacturer's Hong Kong shares fell nearly 2% during Wednesday's afternoon trade.Among the projects is the Jinhua Railway Hub expansion valued at 132 million yuan, and four projects in the urban rail transit market valued at 281 million yuan, 198 million yuan, 150 million yuan and 139 million yuan, respectively.
