The number of cross-border e-commerce platform shoppers in China reached 140 million people in the first half, Xinhua News Agency reported Wednesday, citing remarks by Customs Chief Sun Meijun in a press briefing.
Exports through overseas warehouses increased 3.3 times during the period, according to the state-owned news agency.
In 2025, total cross-border e-commerce imports and exports rose 4.8% year over year to 2.84 trillion yuan, the report said, citing Customs.
