China Suntien Green Energy (SHA:600956, HKG:0956) plans to register and issue up to 3 billion yuan of medium-term bonds, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The bonds will have a term of up to five years, with the exact term to be determined according to market needs.
Proceeds will help fund project construction, repayment of subsidiary debts, and working capital.
Suntien's Hong Kong and Shanghai shares rose 1% during afternoon trading on Monday.
