China Spacesat (SHA:600118) forecasts it will return to an attributable profit of between 30.5 million yuan and 36.5 million yuan in the first half from a loss of 30.5 million yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Saturday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Shares surged nearly 7% during the midday break on Monday.
The expected turnaround is attributable to higher revenue following an increase in accepted satellite development contracts.
