China's postal sector handled 89.9 billion parcels in the first five months of 2026, up 4.3% from last year, state media Xinhua News reported Monday.
Express deliveries accounted for 82.9 billion parcels, rising 5.2% year over year.
Intra-city deliveries fell 8.5% to 5.88 billion parcels, while inter-city deliveries rose 6.4% to 75.2 billion parcels.
International express deliveries and parcels to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan rose 7.4% to 1.78 billion.
