China logged fiscal revenue of 8.34 trillion yuan in the January-to-April period, up 3.5% from the previous year, according to data from the Ministry of Finance.
The pace of growth was 1.1 percentage points higher than in the first quarter.
Tax revenue rose 3.9% year over year to 6.81 trillion yuan in the first four months of 2026, up 1.7 percentage points from Q1.
