China's National Medical Products Administration accepted the clinical trial application of Changchun High-Tech Industry's (SHE:000661) unit, Changchun Jinsai Pharmaceutical, for GenSci155 injection, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Saturday.
The Chinese pharmaceutical company's shares jumped 5% during Monday's afternoon trade.
The drug is being developed to be used to prevent bronchopulmonary dysplasia in premature infants.
