China rolls out guidelines for artificial intelligence metrology and related capacity-building measures, Xinhua News Agency reported Thursday.
The guidelines, released by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Development and Reform Commission, will facilitate the expansion of AI capabilities beyond computing power and scale, the report said.
Beijing's directive covers foundational support, general technology, core technology, metrological technical standards, the metrology service industry, and intelligent empowerment of metrology, according to Xinhua.
