China Power International's April Sales Climb 4.8%

China Power International Development (HKG:2380) sold nearly 10.7 million megawatt-hours of electricity in April, up 4.8% from 10.2 million megawatt-hours a year earlier, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Electricity sold by major associates and joint ventures totaled about 3.5 million megawatt-hours, down 2.1% from 3.5 million megawatt-hours a year earlier.

For the four months ended April 31, sales slipped 2.8% to 39.8 million megawatt-hours from 41 million megawatt-hours in the year-ago period.

TianYu Eco-Environment (SHA:603717) changed its Jiangxia Pig Farm cooperation model from equity partnership to a seven-year lease at 10 million yuan annually, down from 18 million yuan in annual profit distributions.The move resolves litigation with partner Mu Yuansheng, which sued in March, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse.Under the new agreement, company subsidiary Wuhan Tianqian will pay 10 million yuan in performance deposit, with rent adjustable every three years. Berjaya Property Unit Sheds Minority Stake in 7-Eleven Malaysia for MYR44 Million

Berjaya Property (KLSE:BPROP) said its unit Nural Enterprise sold about 1.98% equity interest in 7-Eleven Malaysia (KLSE:SEM) for about 43.9 million ringgit.The stake, comprising 21.9 million shares, was sold to Detik Ria, according to a Friday Malaysian bourse filing.Following the sale, Berjaya Property collectively holds about 70.8 million shares or 6.39% stake in 7-Eleven Malaysia.
