China Meheco Subsidiary Gets China Supplementary Drug Approval for Blood Clot Drug

China Meheco (SHA:600056) subsidiary Tianfang Pharmaceutical received supplementary drug application approval from China's National Medical Products Administration for its tranexamic acid tablets, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The drug is used to treat various types of bleeding due to fibrinolysis, the process of preventing problematic blood clot formation, the filing said.

Sales of the drug reached 47.7 million yuan in the first quarter, according to market data cited by the filing.
