China's embassy in the U.K. filed "serious representations" with authorities in London after Britain released sanctions against four Chinese entities for their alleged involvement in Russia's military, according to a statement from the embassy released Tuesday.
The embassy called on London to correct what it says are "wrongdoings" and withdraw the sanctions against the four entities.
China has promoted peace talks and has controlled the export of dual-use items, the embassy said.
"Normal exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia should not be disrupted or affected," the spokesperson said.
