China Eastern Airlines (SHA:600115, HKG:0670) will purchase 25 A330NEO aircraft from Airbus for $9.35 billion, according to a Monday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The aircraft are set for delivery in batches from 2029 to 2033.
Four aircraft will be delivered in 2029, five in 2030, six in 2031, seven in 2032, and three in 2033.
The new aircraft will replace at least 10 A330 CEO series planes due for retirement.
Shares fell over 2% in Hong Kong at midday Monday.
