China Construction Bank's (HKG:0939, SHA:601939) attributable profit rose 4.6% to 169.6 billion yuan in the first half from 162.1 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
Earnings per share at the bank stayed flat at 0.65 yuan.
Operating income grew 10% year over year to 426.3 billion yuan from 385.9 billion yuan. Net interest income went up 8.5% to 311 billion yuan from 286.7 billion yuan. Net fee and commission income decreased 1.4% to 64.3 billion yuan from 65.2 billion yuan.
Loan loss provisions expanded 21% to 130 billion yuan from 107.7 billion yuan. The non-performing loan ratio fell to 1.29% as of the end of the first half from 1.31% at the end of the second half of 2025.
Directors declared a dividend of 2.010 yuan per 10 shares, or 0.201 yuan per share.
