Both units of China Coal Xinji Energy's (SHA:601918) new 2×660MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power project in China's Lu'An City, Anhui Province, have officially entered commercial operation, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
The two power generation units completed their 168-hour full-load trial operations on April 30 and June 30, respectively.
China Coal Xinji said emissions of particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides at the site meet ultra-clean emission standards.
The company expects the new power project to help ease peak power load pressure in Anhui Province.
