China issued regulations that will classify and grade financial information service data for information service companies within the country, the Cyberspace Administration of China said Friday.
The data will be classified according to business, user, and enterprise data categories and graded according to core, important, sensitive general, and general levels, the administrator said.
Beijing's new guidelines will help financial information companies manage increasing volumes of data in accordance with Chinese data security laws, the CAC said.
