China CITIC Group to Trim Stake in Baiyin Nonferrous

Baiyin Nonferrous (SHA:601212) said China CITIC Group plans to reduce part of its shareholdings, according to a Shanghai bourse filing over the weekend.

About 74 million shares will be offloaded, or 1% of the company's total shares, between Oct. 20, 2026 and Jan. 19, 2027.

China CITIC currently holds 121.7 million shares, or 1.64% of the company's total shares. Through its subsidiary, CITIC Guoan Industrial Group, CITIC also owns 2.37 billion shares, or 32.03% of the company's total shares.

The non-ferrous metal processor's shares fell 2% during Monday's midday trade.
