China CITIC Bank (HKG:0998, SHA:601998) reported 37.6 billion yuan in profit attributable to equity holders for the first half, compared with 36.5 billion yuan a year ago, a Wednesday bourse filing showed.
EPS moved to 0.63 yuan from 0.61 yuan year over year.
For the six months ended June 30, net interest income was 73.1 billion yuan, versus 71.2 billion yuan previously, the lender said.
The company proposed a dividend of 2.03 yuan per 10 shares for the period.

Lakala Payment (SHE:300773) has decided to terminate its proposed secondary listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Exchange, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.The digital payment service provider initially approved the overseas listing plans in August and September 2025.However, due to changes in the market environment and adjustments to its plans, the board voted at a meeting on Tuesday to scrap the plan.
