The Chiba Bank (TYO:8331) recorded a 37.2% rise in attributable profit in the first fiscal quarter to 29.9 billion yen from 21.8 billion yen a year prior.
Basic EPS was 43.16 yen, up from 30.79 yen in the year-ago period, according to a Tuesday Tokyo bourse filing.
The bank's ordinary income increased 41% to 145.3 billion yen from 102.8 billion yen previously.
The lender forecasts an attributable profit of 107 billion yen, basic EPS of 155.40 yen, and a total dividend of 64 yen per share for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
