Chevron Signs Base Oils Distribution Agreements With HF Sinclair, Renkert Oil

Chevron (CVX) said Monday it will expand its North American base oils distribution network through new agreements with HF Sinclair Lubricants & Specialties and Renkert Oil, starting May 1, 2027.

HF Sinclair will become Chevron's exclusive distributor of Group II base oils in Canada and certain US territories, while Renkert Oil will continue distributing Chevron's process oils, NEXBASE Group III base oils, and Group II base oils outside HF Sinclair's exclusive regions, according to a statement.

Chevron said the expanded network will strengthen customer access, supply reliability, and technical support.

Subsea 7 Lands Contract from Brunei Shell Petroleum

Subsea 7 (SUBC.OL) secured a "sizeable" contract to deliver subsea installation for Brunei Shell Petroleum's pipeline replacement project offshore Brunei.The agreement includes the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of a subsea pipeline, as well as riser systems, according to a Friday release.Project management and engineering work are slated to start immediately. The offshore engineering and construction services company values a sizeable contract at between $50 million and $150 million.
