Changchun High-Tech Industry Gets US FDA Nod for Cancer Drug Trial

Changchun High-Tech Industry (SHE:000661) subsidiary GeneScience received approval of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to start clinical trials in the U.S. for GenSci145 tablets.

The drug is indicated for locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors with PIK3CA mutations, which occur in 30% to 40% of breast cancers, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

Shares of the drug manufacturer closed 2% lower Tuesday.
