Chalice Mining (ASX:CHN) said an independent review of the environmental approvals strategy, plan and work to date for its Gonneville project in Western Australia concluded that the company properly identified the main environmental approval risks and uncertainties for the project, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The review was completed by former Western Australian Environmental Protection Authority Chair Dr Tom Hatton, the filing said.
The review expects the company's targeted final investment decision in the first half of 2028, per the filing.
