China Galaxy Securities (SHA:601881, HKG:6881), or CGS, reported 7.8 billion yuan in profit attributable to owners for the first half, compared with 6.49 billion yuan a year ago, a Friday bourse filing showed.
EPS moved to 0.66 yuan from 0.54 yuan year over year.
For the six months ended June 30, total revenue was 22.1 billion yuan, versus 18.6 billion yuan previously, the securities broker said.
The company proposed an interim dividend of 1.50 yuan per 10 shares for the period.
