CGN Power Subsidiary's Unit 1 Qualifies for Commercial Operation

-- CGN Power (HKG:1816, SHE:003816) said Unit 1 of subsidiary CGN Huizhou Nuclear Power completed commissioning works April 19 and is qualified for commercial operation, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The unit will obtain the relevant certificates, such as the Electric Power Business Permit.

After Huizhou Unit 1 is put into commercial operation, the power company will have 29 nuclear power generating units in operation that it manages, with their installed capacity increasing to 33,040 megawatts from 31,838 megawatts.
