CGN New Energy (HKG:1811) generated 1,635.6 gigawatt-hours of power in July, down 5.5% from a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Output from Chinese gas-fired projects, wind projects, solar projects, and hydropower projects decreased by 36.3%, 11.3%, 1.2%, and 5.4%, respectively. Power generation from its South Korea projects rose by 7.3%.
For the seven months ended July, total power generation fell 2.7% year-over-year to 10,942.9 GWh.
Shares of the renewable and conventional power producer plunged 9% in recent trade.
