CGI Unit Enters Research Deal With Defense Logistics Agency, University of Tennessee, Knoxville

CGI (GIB) said Thursday its subsidiary CGI Federal has entered into an applied research agreement with the US Defense Logistics Agency and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The initiative will explore how agentic artificial intelligence and quantum computing can support advanced warehouse management and improve supply chain and logistics in contested environments, the company said.

The applied research initiative is called the Quantum Pathfinder, according to a statement.
