Central Puerto (CEPU) said Tuesday its board authorized a program to buy back up to $30 million of its own shares.
The repurchase plan covers up to 10% of the company's share capital over a 180-day period beginning on the business day after it is published through market communication channels.
The maximum purchase price is set at $16 per American Depositary Receipt and 2,600 Argentine pesos per common share, the company said.
Daily purchases will be limited to 25% of the average daily trading volume during the preceding 90 trading days.
Shares of the company were up 3% in Tuesday trading.
